My name is Kim Batten and I am the creator of this website! I am a 21-year-old college senior at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI.) Moving to the big city was a BIG lifestyle change, but my passion of hunting only grew!

The story of my hunting passion begins in 2005, when I was just a little three-year-old. I followed my father's footsteps that first hunt and every hunt since. Each hunt, each season, and each year my passion grows. Fast forward to where I am at now … it is as strong as it has ever been.

Through this website I want to educate. Speaking broadly, we live in a world of unknowingness. Narrowing that statement down, we are unknown to those around us. We are unknown of one another's passions, their interests, their hobbies, and so much more. The non-hunting community is unknown of what a hunter's passion really entails. What made them become a hunter? What keeps their passion alive? What motivates them? Where is their passion taking them? All these questions have answers. Each hunter has a story. The purpose of this website is to share those stories and educate readers.

Through this website I want to unite. Unite the communities of hunters with non-hunters. Unite and connect the community of hunters with each other. Unite the passions, lifestyles, and beliefs. I want to connect with as many hunters, non-hunters, and supporters as possible through this website. That is how you grow a community, through a united passion.

Through this website I want to grow. This goal is endless, and that is the way it should be. I have no set numbers or statistics of readers to reach. Even if I grow one, singular person's knowledge of hunting my goal is met. Growing your mindset and knowledge base is key to navigating this world of unknowingness.
